Individualized learning guarantees that we reach academic goals! Every student gets the attention they need & deserve at FCS. Since each student learns differently, first we find out "how" they learn & then teach them that way: simple one-on-one instruction. Daily goals are achieved through a series of procedures & policies that create academic success.
Curriculum Procedures ensure that all students are studying properly & learning instead of just memorizing answers & concepts. Parents are also taught these learning reinforcement procedures so that in the UNLIKELY event that a student has homework -parents understand the curriculum.
The General Learning Center Procedures lists the course of events in a day & teaches the school-room policies used to establish the learning environment.
Parents are provided all this info & more at Parent Orientation so that everyone is literally on the same page!
The "Learning Center & Curriculum Procedures Handbook" is the instrument through which staff teaches both parents & students the entire process. Afterward it's used for reference as necessary. This handbook also comes with an optional test for parents which requires an 80% passing grade. With successful completion, a certificate of achievement is awarded to parents.
