A Word from our Founder -Dr Mack (1944-2015)

“On June 12,1988 a body of men and women met to enter into fellowship and covenant for the purpose of founding an establishment of education, then ordering the publication of the principles of the teachings we believe to be most commonly held by believers of like faith. Though these men and women may be removed far and wide today -yet when Jesus appears; we are confident that we will all appear once again together with Him. He is our only hope.

In the years that followed, attendance was sustained by the blessings of The Lord. The preaching, teaching, and testimonies that come forth -were and still are; the hallmark of the services in our member churches and schools. Namely, that salvation is an act of God that regenerates, bestowing a new nature by the vicarious life and merits of Jesus Christ, our Lord. It is by His faithfulness to us, without any worth, merit, will, or faith on our part; while we were held under the curse, guilt, and condemnation of our own conscience; unholy, ungodly, undone -lost; that He delivered us by the preaching of His message, testimony of His children, according to the good pleasure of His will, through His divine influence upon the heart. Alone He has justified us, removing our shame as sinners and vile transgressors. This justification is granted through the gifts of faith and repentance and is unto eternal life.

Through the years I am all the more resolved that the call to worship we received in 1988 was the most blessed event of my life. The purpose of this fellowship is still the same: the calling is still fresh: fellowship of the saints is still refreshing to the spirit: The Lord Jesus is still present in the services, working His will; according to His good pleasure. Amen.

Thanksgiving is all the more offered now and the privilege of being a part has been sacred to a worm such as I. Solemn promises made for us by our Lord Jesus Christ two thousand years ago have made us able ministers to our God. Our covenant and ministry are blessed. He will work in us mightily and of ourselves we can do nothing. Oh! If only one more could see the mighty hand of the God of our fathers working to save a people for Himself. Oh! If, when someone someday should recall the names of those included herein, or ponder the happy faces of the children, or recall the struggles we have overcome to keep our solemn promises, let them be encouraged to know that the hand of God was in it all.”
